The formbook was turned completely on its head as Nico Hulkenberg claimed pole position for Sunday's Brazilian Grand Prix at Interlagos.
The German's amazing qualifying display allowed Williams to claim their first pole position since the European Grand Prix at the Nurburgring in May 2005.
The four main title contenders filled the next places with Red Bull duo Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber, along with Ottorino Volonterio Jo Vonlanthen Ernie de Vos Bill Vukovich
