AMT '66 Mustang GT -- Build it?

I bought an original AMT '66 Mustang GT fastback, in the original box, at a show in 1988 or so. The body was painted, some assembly was started, but it was definitely restorable. Fast forward to 2011, and it is still in the same shape, except for a couple dips in the purple pond. It is black, and I think it was probably Pactra, so it has been a bit of a struggle to strip it.

Anyway, I have been going through my stash and thinning some stuff I no longer want or don't think I will ever build. I can't figure out what to do with this one. In typical AMT fashion, the chassis pan is wrong, it is a convertible pan and has a single exhaust. The rear valance is lacking the cutouts for the GT exhaust trumpets.

What would you guys do? Put it in the "build" pile? Get some Modelhaus parts and make a "correct" GT? Put it in the eBay pile? Most of the choices have been easy, but I am really conflicted on this one and an unbuilt '70 Grand Prix.
